LOL! Every time I think about the adventure I am planning to embark on - I have an anxiety attack. Its hell to want to do something so badly and be so damn fearful at the same time. All I can do is laugh, hope & muster motivation to overcome it.

I wonder if the same is true for people deeply tied into their political positions.

Self-care is more complicated for me than negotiating a multi million dollar contract.
Self-care can be fun, joyful, or exciting, sure, but most of the time it isn't, and this can make for a big barrier for a lot of ADHD'ers.
Self-care is often the tiny, boring actions necessary to safeguard our capacity in the future, such as, wearing a mask, sleeping enough, eating enough, etc. 🧵/2

Good morning. Busy day today - am call with a recruiter and an afternoon introduction for part time work at a local attorney's office to help get them caught up on paperwork type stuff. I actually have a reason to get out of my jammies today. #grateful
