IMO if you are trying to book a drag artist for your company’s Pride event in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Do not try to pay them for their time and talent with a coupon/gift bag of your company’s products especially during pride month. Coupons don’t pay the rent!!

IMO sometimes you don’t get the gig NOT because you aren’t talented (because you are) but because they don’t know you. Networking is key within this industry so remember that before you take it personal. It will help elevate unnecessary stress and worry!

IMO……WASH YOUR UNDERGARMENTS! & clean your costumes or at least vodka/water spray them. Nothing is more unpleasant then when a patron goes to tip or hug you and they are greeted by your funk BEFORE they even get to hug you!
