Listen…I’m still pissed about Covid and think about it often how as country we glossed over that shit. Lotta folks died, couldn’t have funerals, muthafcka’s didn’t wanna wear masks, etc. The individualism displayed during that time has shaped me to believe there is really no hope for us!

You know, we use to ostracize the shit out of folks that were legit stupid. And we were better as a society for it. But at some point, society decided that these stupid people just had a “difference of opinion” and honestly that’s how we got here today.

Seriously, creative folks: Don't be afraid to let people know your stuff is out there for them, or worry that "now is not the time for that." People are stressed and freaked out and looking for the things that will give them a moment of rest and joy. It is EXACTLY the time for what we do. Tell them.

Ive many issues with cultural appropriation… but by far my biggest problem is that it always results in the disenfranchisement of black people

Based on where I went to high school and college, and the industry i work in, I’ve friended a handful of white folks along the way on social media. Outside of my business partners and 2 or 3 others… the silence from white people in the midst of racial terror on us Black folks is alarming. #dulynoted
