she sent an apology email this morning lol instead of apologizing, i explained myself, my logic, + that my tone is often more indicative of my stress level due to environmental factors than my personal feelings toward her or anyone + she thanked me???
there are very few days that make me want to quit theatre entirely, but the director lecturing me like a teenager about having an attitude the moment i stop being bubbly bc i’m frustrated that people won’t stop trying to ask me design questions while i’m trying to technical direct is one of them

attended a super frustrating production meeting, came home, redesigned the entire show in 5hrs, sent off a new storyboard, went to bed + woke up to a CRISP 9:05am “thank you for the quick work, we are going in the right direction” we could’ve been here a month ago but at least we’re here now!!!!

I think "when they go low we go high" was an excuse for just rolling over. "When they go low we have to get in their face and confront them about it with unwavering fortitude" doesn't have the same ring to it but it's a much better tactic.
