Engineer and artist and sometimes writer. Gaming, worldbuilding, science fiction, technology and painting are my jams.
This is good advice.
Write like no one will read it.
Edit like everyone will quote it.

You'll be unstoppable! 🚀

I rarely talk about work on my personal socials, but.

My employer has climbed in the sack with LinkedIn Learning. The site won't give me credit for their mandatory course unless I link my personal profile.

Not only no, but HELL NO.

I am not a company drone.

Um... Yeah.
Never thought I’d live through the whole “it was once the United States before the Bad Thing” part of the dystopian movie.

The definition of "doublespeak."

Origin is the novel 1984 by George Orwell.

Armchair economists, take note.

The rich are opening Swiss Bank accounts in record numbers. You can bet those are not valued in dollars.

I spent some time actually looking at Facebook (instead of just hopping on to post something).

It is worse than ever.

Johnny Cash all the way.
As I wake to the 81st day of the Fall of the American Empire, the question I contemplate:

Which version of "Hurt" is more appropriate as a soundtrack to the decline? The Johnny Cash cover, or the Nine Inch Nails original? 🤔

We had this very problem in East Baton Rouge Parish. We spoke up, and a compromise was reached.

Make your voices heard!
ALA is deeply concerned by reports that IMLS is sending notices to libraries claiming to cancel grants that are required by law. This harmful action will disrupt libraries' ability to serve their communities.

The one day a week I get off to do something fun, it rains.

I finally have the means to travel, and planes fall out of the sky.

I approach retirement, and old age benefits disappear.

Not Boomer.
Not Gen X.
Just cursed.

2025, go f**k yourself.

It's too bad most people don't understand this.
It's the nature of humanity to error, to mistake, to succumb to illusion. That's why we must always check our views against reality as directly as possible, always test our understanding, always remain eager for correction and knowledge. That's how we become smarter--not by guarding our pride.

Typical Monday after DST starts. Dark AF at 5 a.m., the weekend feels truncated, tired, and irritable due to the early hour.
