About time I posted again. I now have a third Holga 'Plastic Fantastic' camera - The Holga 135BC. A lot of fun!

I shot a roll of Ilford XP2 super film which I developed in HC-110 rather than the C41 process! Post in LR Classic.

I bought a couple of rolls of Lucky SHD400 film from Temu. I went no more than 200 metres from our house in blazing sunlight (32 degrees C) and the roll. Not as bad as some would have you believe IMHO! Shot at ISO 200.

First roll ever of Foma Ortha 400 shot with a Minolta 800Si, 28-105mm Zoom and developed in Compard R09 (Rodinal) 1:50 for 11min. I was amazed at the 'modest' grain and sharpness. An interesting orthochromatic film IMHO

I recently acquired a Horizon 202 and chose to test it with a roll of Rollei Retro 400S developed in Rodinal. I found it an ... er ... interesting experience! Great fun!

They were, in the main, robust and built to high standards. The later models, like so many cameras employed a lot of plastic in their construction. Even so, the build quality wasn't generally bad.

I confess! I never wanted a Hasselblad! I still don't! However, I do like panoramas and so I guess that merging 3 shots and cropping to 65x24 ratio is as near as I will get to owning an Xpan!

What do you do when you misread the clock and get up an hour early? It's obvious really! You get a camera out, attach an infrared filter and take a few shots south from the front of our house! 🙂

A derelict wooden wagon with iron wheels. The wooden body has collapsed and appears to be on the verge of parting company with the chassis. The remains of the body is propped up against the wall of the quarry. An abandoned bulldozer abandoned at the side of a track that disappears into the distance with foliage and shrubbery either side of the track. Electricity poles and cables lead off into the distance from the right. An abandoned tipper truck with no bonnet/hood and the engine exposed. A large fan is prominent at the front of the engine. Both of the cab doors are wide open. The truck has grass, weeds and shrubs growing around it. Abandoned quarry with rockface on the left with trees and foliage on the right. The main subjects are an abandoned bulldozer on the left and an abandoned truck with its doors open on the right. In the middle distance is a derelict wagon.
