My Dad (USN '66-'70) wanted to go to Epple-bees today.
I haven't been there for many years, since I bit into a bolt in my burger.
I love my Dad and would do anything for him within my capacity.
Today, that was eating with him someplace he enjoyed.
Our food was hardware-free.

Was gonna take care of the leaves today because I wanted to clear the lawn again before it snowed but apparently the day to do that was Saturday - before it rained and THEN snowed - so now I'm SOL with a lawn of heavy frozen leaves and a mess to clean up in spring.
Timing is everything.
