I don't think I've ever been in such a pure, accepting, understanding, loving, and open mindset ever in this life. It is wonderful and I hope others can work through their inner struggles to feel this for themselves too.

This is NOT what I had in mind when I voted for the man who pretended to work at McDonald's for a day and then drove around in a dump truck. I thought he would continue doing those things, thereby providing valuable services in my community

I'm not sure which of you need to hear this, but:
If you push yourself to your limits and burn out for a company, you are trading years of your future productivity for minor gains in the present.
Burning out will _fuck you up_, it's like brain fog or depression, and it takes years to recover

A lot of trauma survivors are very kind & empathetic. When you offer that up, the cruelest of humans use it to hurt you. To be clear, a survivor doesn’t become a survivor because they were kind. They become a survivor because an abusive person chose to exploit their kindness.

If I witness someone irl getting verbally abused the way Zelensky took it today, I stand up against the abuser. I learned that being silent is worse than keeping a low profile. Our loved ones need to feel supported.
Picking the right moment to stand up is vital but we are stronger than we think.
