Reimagining Healthcare Operations through Operational Excellence and Intelligent Automation for patients, providers, and payors.

Be careful how you interpret the world, it *is* like that

I'm having to include the pyramid of Bloom's Taxonomy and put a "You Are Here." arrow on it right at the border of remember and understand, then follow with Dreyfus Skills Acquisition (arrow at Advanced beginner).
The competition almost got away from me this year, but IslaOfMisfitToys gets my donation to our local Foodbank for the Heartland once again. Here's to all the unsung heroes who make healthcare possible. Let's make sure the best medicine is not being hungry. ❤️

I agree. They told us exactly what they were going to do. There is no reason to waste time with being "shocked". Move on, move forward.

PSA: Check your expiration date! Be sure what you're carrying will be effective.
Also, many states have Narcan programs that let you get it for free - so if you don't have HSA/FSA (looking at my Medicare gals) you can still save a life.
Do it.
It's a new year which means some of you have renewed your FSA/HSA funds. Naloxone/Narcan is available over the counter in the US (and at many online pharmacies) where you can use your FSA/HSA card to pay for it. I live in an area with a lot of opioid overdoses so I carry it with me when I'm out.

I started the day so not looking forward to the national events. Still, I have a duty of care to tune in if only to catalog the carnage.
Then I looked at my dogs and realized it's not my circus.
I can still care, help, do. Nothing about that has changed other than maybe more opportunities.

Oh Great Serpent of Darkness, hear our prayer...

Okay...
So how *exactly* does Texas even figure into this equation.
Geography. Basic, grade school geography. Try some kids, it's fun, and it stop one from falling for false information that diverts attention away from the real threats around us.
{And, big bonus here, you don't look foolish!}

This was a lucky shot. 30 minutes later the wind came up and blew it all away (the snow, not the tree).

I've had some luck locally, but this is an older shot from the balcony of my old beach house in Oxnard c2001.

So I learn that etiquette here requests a bio. Fair and rather friendly TBH.
I am hard, to some I'd be a big threat - Old, white, cis, het, male, living in the Midwest. That's kinda scary these days.
I'm neither D or R, though I was brought up a Goldwater/Reagan republican...

It feels so much less nicer over here. Less tension, more photographs (astro and nature) in my Discover. And I found about 198 of my favorite peeps hanging in the Blue Sky.
