Can we just stop with the weird CGI babies?

Really disappointed in my local school districts. All bond initiatives failed, and by narrow margins. Low voter turnout, too. Our kids deserve better, and we will not stop fighting for that.

We have the power for change if we actually get up, speak out, and show up in our communities.

AI is becoming a plague, wrecking our communities and farm land. And our useless politicians are making it easier with things like PA233 here in Michigan. They want to built a toxic BESS right next to our schools and a datacenter across the street. Money corrupts, and the people suffer.

Busy busy busy. Help me do the hard work. Message your representatives. Attend township and school board meetings. Learn the issues that effect you, now, and do something about it. You have more power and will than you know.

Spent the afternoon outside. Time to get cozy with the kids.

No one is unhappier than when you fail to do something exactly how a toddler wants it done.

And I am left scraping together opposition against the AI industry forcing a toxic BESS next to our schools to attract datacenters, or battling school districts for trans rights, or finding solutions to the rising unhoused crisis as our only shelter in town cuts the number of beds they offer.
the real issues that drive liberals to action are suspending Jimmy Kimmel and demolishing a part of a house built by enslaved people.

Never mind every other single abominable or corrupt thing to this miserable moment, the extrajudicial and unevidenced execution of 34 human beings by the U.S. Navy on the orders of a U.S. President acting in peacetime is sufficient for his impeachment and conviction.

If we were a republic, I mean.

Our country is in danger. The "enemy from within" is Donald Trump himself, and all that he represents. This has been true since he first came down that escalator, and is even more so today.
Senator Jeff Merkley, Democrat of Oregon, concluded a marathon speech on the Senate floor Wednesday evening after 22 hours and 37 minutes, saying he was “ringing the alarm bells” on the arrival of authoritarianism under President Trump.
Senator Merkley Warns of Authoritarianism Under Trump in Nearly 23-Hour Speech
The Oregon Democrat achieved a goal of topping the previous longest speech by a senator from his state.

since we're letting podcasters run the FBI now, I'd like to make it known to any future presidents that if you appoint me i will pronounce the "human" in "human trafficking" like Quark from DS9.

there will be no other substantial changes

thank you for your attention to this matter

What is this reporter smoking? Since when has any American needed to pay a fee to assemble peacefully? Fuck this nazi bullshit!

I'd say our very first brake light clinic was a success. We helped 26 cars ensure they had working lights, good tire pressure, and topped off fluids. And hopefully it helps them stay out of the sights of cops looking for an easy target.

I'll just hold onto what a great day I had with my daughters yesterday while @mamabear487.bsky.social worked to make WMU Band Day a great success for hundreds of high schoolers as we wrap up another shitty week in fascism.

These constant, baseless threats and demonization of the left weight heavily on me, on us all. And it is absolutely vile the way our President continues to make calls to his base looking for an excuse to enact violence against the perceived threats on our own soil.
Trump threatens Democrats: "It's gonna get worse, and ultimately it's gonna go back on them. Bad things happen when they play these games. I'll give you a little clue -- the right is a lot tougher than the left."

Trump hyped a huge autism announcement for months then followed through today with a press conference where his brain leaked out of his ears for an hour while he couldn't pronounce "acetaminophen" and yelled "DON'T TAKE ASPIRIN" over and over.

Congratulations, America.
