Texting parents could boost student attendance

An independent evaluation, led by Verian and jointly-funded by the EEF and Youth Endowment Fund, found that texting parents the number of days missed rather than percentages helped parents better understand and act on the messages.

Did you know The Teacher Development Fund offers grants up to £165,000 to support partnerships between arts organisations and groups of 6–10 primary schools, bringing the arts into classrooms.
