As of 10-25-2025, I had to login with Gmail (with 2-step verify) to watch YOUTUBE on a PC desktop. My smart-TV allowed viewing sans login, but only after jumping through a few hoops. Is YouTube going login-only? Next paid only? What's going on over there?
