I attended Mr. Dash’s presentation and below are the three things I learned.
1. If possible, doing a quick survey or focus group before the actual survey, can enlighten and help us get an understanding of what we are dealing with. It gives us something to work with before the final survey.

I attended the Tableau workshop and below are the three things I learned.

1. There are 2 ways to save your Tableau dashboard. One being Tableau packaged workbook (*.twbx) and the other being Tableau workbook (*.twb). The difference is that *.twbx saves visuals and data while the other is limited.

I attended the Excel workshop and below are the three things I learned.

1. There are different types of charts in excel such as bar graphs, scatter plots, pie charts, etc. However, not all graphs will suit your data, so you need to understand which one will visually enhance the data and be clear.

I learned that once we get our survey finished, we should run it by a focus group. A focus group will help us get different perspectives on our structure and offer feedback on improvements needed. This will help us finish the project by making a final draft of the survey to issue. #MarketingNinja25

One thing I learned was the importance of a survey questionnaire. Data collection is a very important process when doing research, so being able to articulate the questions and responses is crucial for the end results. I will be constantly considering these things moving forward. #MarketingNinja25

My aha moment for this week was knowing that working with simple data can be beneficial. There are times when marketers can be bombarded with data but knowing where and what to focus on can be extremely helpful. #Marketingninja25
