One thing I don't see ppl talk about:

Food pantries are often inaccessible to Autistic ppl & other Disabled ppl

Bus lines sometimes aren't near them

Disability can dictate what food you can eat

Often in food pantries you don't have much choice, unlike SNAP

They’ve buried it so thoroughly my colleagues know little about the thousands of studies on problems… and even more importantly… almost nothing about the solutions.
The entire responsibility of handling Covid was offloaded on to the individual and they were told to “assess your own personal risk”, while simultaneously NOT informing the individual of actual risk - such as unseen, cumulative vascular and neurological damage, risk of long covid in kids, etc.

The Hurricane Hunters had to temporarily leave the eyewall due to "severe turbulence" on an earlier mission. REMINDER: Their airplanes were specifically engineered to be able to withstand the extreme pressure, precipitation and winds associated with TC's. That goes to show how powerful #Melissa is.
