Q’linn doesn’t learn SCH through the events of that questline - instead he salvaged YoRHa tech from the First to modify the Anima minion into a pseudo-Pod, then learned the tactical techniques from a fellow WoL who *did* do the SCH quests. (cont.)

Q’linn has an intense fear of depths due to past trauma, just about steeling himself to reach Tamamizu in the first place. The kojin’s blessing has helped to mitigate that fear a little, and every so often he practices shallow diving with its aid to gradually acclimate himself.

Q’linn has an intense fear of depths due to past trauma, just about steeling himself to reach Tamamizu in the first place. The kojin’s blessing has helped to mitigate that fear a little, and every so often he practices shallow diving with its aid to gradually acclimate himself.
Made the poor decision of reaching a critical story juncture as DPS at mid-afternoon on a weekday. I'm sure they can pass the time while we wait for queues to populate.

Q’linn finds Alphinaud overly entitled at first, but bonds hard with him after the Crystal Braves fallout and is immensely proud of his growth thereafter - even teaching him carpentry as a way to “connect with the common people.”

I named mine Locke, after the Deathlocke Lux relic they came from! They’ve been Q’linn’s companion for the entire game since, becoming a core part of his kit across several jobs and developing out their own story.

Q’linn has some fangs on him, despite being a Seeker, as well as some stubble he’s been letting grow out. More dramatically, his covered-over left eye is entirely missing, the hollow socket stained white with flecks of gold as a scar from his Light corruption.
