After 106 days on strike, Charlottetown Water & Sewer Workers, CUPE Local 830, ratified their agreement. They fought concessions & protected job security for current/future workers.

2021 CUPE strike ended with an agreement incl negotiations on the pension piece for NBCNHU, 1253 and 2745.
Higgs' hatred for CUPE took over & PCs tabled Bill 17, forcing these groups in a shared-risk pension plan. Going against fair bargaining and GNB's own agreement with CUPE to end the strike.
