❤️ @rooseveltinstitute.org report, 161 ways gov could be more effective. This is one is good. I think another good one is work with constituencies that benefit from specific policies, so more people that benefit from something know why. If only Nov 2024 voters knew what Biden admin had achieved, 😞

except... health insur is complex. who has a lg audience, understands health insurance, & can explain it? More people will agree with Trump's plan than people that understand why Trump's plan is the pre-2010 situation that led to over a $1 trillion of medical debt & many bankrupcies.

One big lesson I drew from the elections is that electricity prices are a top-tier political issue. The 2 Dems who won seats on the utility regulatory panel in Georgia overperformed Kamala Harris by 28 points(!) Mikie Sherrill ran on freezing rates.
There's an agenda here for the Dems.

ADP for Oct showed private sector hiring of 42k after a decline of 29k jobs in Sept, but the 3m avg is barely positive at 3k and it is increasingly clear smaller firms are bearing the brunt of policy chaos. Now add in federal layoffs not captured in ADP data and it is no surprise voters are unhappy
