$9.5 billion of biomedical research support, 2,100 grants, have already been terminated at NIH

A Harvard scientist built a database of 2,100 NIH grant terminations. Then his own funding was cut
Harvard's Scott Delaney helped build a database of NIH grant terminations that is being used in litigation against the Trump administration.

The reality is: Kids’ health is poor in the US because Republicans have systematically defunded hospitals and medical care for kids, and Republicans’ corporate allies have gutted parents’ pay, left many areas as food deserts, and concentrated wealth into a billionaire oligarchy.

Chasten and I are relieved that Governor Shapiro and his family are safe. While we wait to learn more, this much is clear: the targeting of a public official and his family - especially a prominent Jewish official on a major Jewish holiday - is unconscionable and has no place in our country.

BREAKING: An appeals court rejected the Trump administration's request to overturn a court order blocking the use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport people without due process.

This is a win for immigrants' rights and the rule of law.

I've been enjoying using the clipping feature on NewspaperArchive by Storied as of late. Today is the anniversary of my grandmother's death in 2006 and I added the clipping from her obit to my family history archive; also @wikitree.bsky.social & FamilySearch Family Tree profiles. RIP grandma! 💔

Urgent: Illegal Activity Underway

Many undocumented immigrants file tax returns with the IRS, providing details about their residences, families, employers, and earnings. The IRS has historically encouraged tax compliance by issuing ITINs to those without Social Security numbers.

Love a little profile bling! I'm starting to add these genealogy labels from Black Pearls of Genealogy onto my online genealogy work. This is one I've just added to a profile I'm working on at @wikitree.bsky.social and FamilySearch.

Speaking of BillionGraves - this is a visual representation of many of the headstones I've photographed at a historic black cemetery in Nashville. I am very much wanting to get back and take more! #genealogy #gravesites

The BillionGraves team had a monument company bring actual headstones to their booth at RootsTech so demos could be done on how to use the app - ha! Read more in their blog post recap blog.billiongraves.com/billiongrave.... Pretty cool. I LOVE using this app to take GPS-tracked headstone photos!

BREAKING: We're suing the Trump administration for removing medical research by private doctors from a government website.

Our clients are Harvard Medical School doctors whose work was removed because of the words "LGBTQ" and "transgender."

The government cannot censor science.
