First, Polish conservative presidential candidate allegedly heard from Trump during a visit: "You're going to win this".

Then, Noem advertises him at a CPAC conf as a security guarantee, suggesting that electing him is the condition of good relationship with the US.

3 days remain to the elections.

This is why I loved @naomiaklein.bsky.social 'Doppelgänger'.
This is why I love C.G.Jung.

Because - what would be the 'substance' now?
The boring, awkward, grey area, where what I alienate is also in me? Where I am also the opposite of what I identify with?

Where I AM even if nobody sees me?
Can't help but feel we're living through an increasingly existential war between spectacle and substance with spectacle winning battle after battle after battle.

People who haven't developped their sense-making competence rely on external narratives.

It's enough to offer them an emotionally charged and self-righteous answers, and they're sold.

They weaponize our lack of patience - the inability to hold tension and focus long enough to grasp whole picture.

It amazes me how underappreciated is the war on minds. Why, despite stark defeats, yet so few seem to realize what is MO of modern warfare.

What's scary is that Jeffrey Sachs's reputation makes him an influential figure at Columbia, Cambridge, University of Pennsylvania, CNN, BBC, EU Parliament. He's been UN advisor, a fellow in Sanders Institute, frequent guest on Democracy Now.

He's like an ultimate trojan horse against humanism.

People are confused who and what to believe. Distrusting influencers, they sometimes turn to authorities - academics, analytics, people seen as eloquent, educated and experienced.

I've seen many of them convinced by smooth speeches of Sachs, which is terrifying.

Jeffrey Sachs is one hell of a Kremlin's and Beijing's propagandist.

Sachs' talking points:
- Maidan was US fabricated coup while Ukrainians wanted Yanukovych to stay in power
- US pushed Moscow to war by expansion of NATO
- everybody's happy in China and Russia
- covid was fabricated in US lab

Art often precedes and foresees future in an intuitive way.
It's clear now why for 60 years it's been dwelling on zombies.
Creatures with no awareness, no soul nor self control. Agressive albeit decaying. Driven by insatiated hunger, mainly for flesh and blood - for life. No heartbeat, no mercy.

Yet in countries like Slovakia, Hungary and Italy, press freedom is shrinking fast. Right-wing governments are curbing this democratic pillar, with backing from autocratic powers like Russia, China and Turkey, where truth-telling is punished with prison or worse. 1/2
