The worst part about the boat strikes - regardless of who ordered what and besides the ultimate tragedy of lives lost - is they’re forever a stain on the professionalism and dignity of the United States military.

You can’t say criminals don’t deserve due process when due process is the thing that decides if they're criminals. Otherwise you're just kidnapping people you don't like.

This is how everyone I know feels about cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, medical research, consumer protection, the cares Act, overturning abortion rights etc etc etc.

"They'll never cut Social Security" is the new "they'll never overturn Roe v Wade."
