I, for one, am relieved that all the Senators still have their taxpayer supported health insurance. I'm not sure what you all are complaining about... Crisis AVERTED!!!!!
How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Mandami is going to implement charcuterie law. Every New Yorker will be allowed to consume only small bites of fruit, cheese, crackers, and small pickles.
Mamdani is going to implement Sriracha law. Everyone will have to slather hot sauce on their scrambled eggs
Mamdani is going to implement My Sharona law. Everyone will have to create songs with undeniable rock beats.

I'm enough of a Marketplace nerd that I was literally the first person at the door for the @kairyssdal.bsky.social talk... 2h early.

But apparently not enough of a capitalist to get a seat in the Reserved section.

Picture your pantry cabinet. You’re out of your favorite cereal so you head to the grocery store to pick up a new box for breakfast tomorrow. Strolling down the cereal aisle in the supermarket, there might be 200 different options from plain oatmeal to Frosty Sugar Nuggets.

Today's referee highlight: watched a newly certified 13-year-old referee officiating his second 11U game make a PERFECT advantage call... recognized the foul at mid-field, held his whistle and allowed the attacking team to retain possession, signaled for advantage, attacking team got a shot on goal.

Live your life in such a way that if the escalator stops, you don't assume that it's because people hate you.

The radius wall at the top of the stair in this house is one of my favorite details in this whole house remodel we have under construction

What a great way to communicate design intent to the trades! Of note: the general contractor posted this "sign", not me.

I bet that 96% of the people at any soccer game, players included, have not actually read the full current Laws of the Game.

Just here admiring the weathered rough edge, running bond, deep-struck, wide joint composition in this brick veneer on a house we just measured for remodeling design.

Also, search this hashtag for more brick content. Apparently I'm the only one using it.
