This and other LNG projects guarantee B.C. will fail to meet its legislated emission targets. Marc Lee writes.

What the project is awaiting is investor approval, a decision that will hinge on substantial financial incentives from government.
If elected, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre would approve LNG Canada’s second phase, an expansion of the Kitimat gas processing facility that would double its export capacity.

The only problem: the project’s already approved.

We shouldn’t put up barriers to people who want to use public transit.

Why are taxpayers paying double for two similar-yet-incompatible systems when we could just use one? If we worked together, we could save TransLink and BC Transit millions of dollars per year by merging both fare payment systems
Opinion: TransLink and BC Transit should use the same digital fare system | Urbanized

I've cracked the code of why byelection lineups are so long in Vancouver today.

It's not just a turnout question.

Compared to the 2017 byelection, the city decreased the number of election workers by EIGHTY PERCENT.

From 1,250 in 2017 to 250 this time around.

This was a staff recommendation.
