The voicemail I got today from Julia at the Austin Film Festival letting me know, “your scripts His Horse is Crazy… and…(sniggers)… This is Phoenix…(sniggers)… Not the Circle Jerks (sniggers) have advanced” is probably my favorite voicemail EVER 😆

As a punk rocker, my favorite violence was a younger friend came to visit. Left her in my room and went to work, came home and she punched me in the face, holding up my copies of Roman Holiday, Sabrina and Breakfast at Tiffany’s, screaming, “WHY DID YOU NEVER TELL ME ABOUT AUDREY HEPBURN?!” 😆
