It’d be great if you’re interested in “soily” &/or “pollutiony” things if you came along to my presentation on “Safeguarding our soils: insights from urban soil pollution research”. It’s going to be a wander through our 15 years of urban soil research in the #SoilToxLab

I had a little book delivery today. Wendy Belcher’s book because I’ve heard so much good stuff about it. And the Soil Science book to help me with teaching guest lectures on soil science to non-soil scientists.

Hi #AcademicSky Does you know any good resources (books, papers, websites etc) to suggest to a student who is writing their first literature review for publication? They are struggling to move from the “Smith et al (2020) found XXX” style to a more sophisticated narrative style. #AcademicChatter

Clearly, I don't have enough followers, but I'd like to invite parents and caregivers in #academia to use the hashtag #momademia to help out #community grow, exchange tips, rant, and, generally, be there for one another.
Thanks!
