Notice the dollar amounts in headlines about campaign spending.

Every one of those dollars is spent making you angry and spiteful (b/c that’s what gets your attention).

It doesn’t matter what “side” you are on. You’re left feeling angry, resentful, powerless.

It doesn’t have to be like this.

This PBS documentary is over a decade old. In 2012 it was staggering how much money was being spent on political advertising + campaigns. How about today?
