"We killed these people because they were on a list we made of people we want to kill" Oh ok no further questions then
EXCLUSIVE: Pete Hegseth ordered the U.S. military on Sept. 2 to kill all 11 people on a suspected drug-smuggling boat because they were on an internal list of military targets, the commander overseeing the operation told lawmakers, according to multiple sources.
Admiral told lawmakers everyone on alleged drug boat was on a list of military targets
Adm. Frank Bradley said U.S. intelligence had identified the 11 people on the boat and determined the military was authorized to kill them as part of Trump’s campaign against alleged drug-smuggling vessels.

A great development in the story of Sheng Thao, the former Oakland mayor that got recalled for corruption entirely by coincidence: the FBI's main informant is a born scammer who has been sued by everyone and never pays the damages

The FBI’s Oakland corruption case relies heavily on the word of one man with a ‘checkered past’
For decades, Juarez has been at the center of bitter legal disputes — and the subject of criminal investigations — all while maintaining high-level political connections.

In the comments, people note that it’s AI and the poster responds that he just doesn’t care.

That’s an easy block.
this is AI, as should be obvious by the PICE vest, please stop sharing it.

I could be wrong (I frequently am) but most people who call out racism, transphobia, ableism, and other prejudices, at least in my experience, aren't trying to cancel anyone.

They're asking for accountability. They want us to own our errors and be humble about them. And that's reasonable.

Jesus Christ. London does not belong to you. Nowhere belongs to you. Whatever you look like. Wherever you come from. This obvs doesn't apply to the Duke of Westminster lol
No surprise that Ed West thinks you have to be white for London to be "your city", but still shocking that the *London* Standard prints this stuff.

How ICE deportations are actually costing US citizens their jobs. The many layers of ripple effects in the supply and demand chain, a missing supportive network and billions lost from the economy are all just the beginning of the fallout of Trump’s brutal immigration sweeps and policies.

Conflict is inevitable. If you do any sort of organizing, you’re going to work with people you don’t like.

Learn to manage conflict. Both between you and someone else, and between other people.

The beautiful part is that working through conflict together can actually build stronger bonds.

Trump makes these baloney investment claims all the time (with help from collaborator corporations and authoritarian countries) but they don't work, even with media outlets readily repeating them. Polling on Trump and the economy continues to crater, net approval currently -25ish.
“.. Federal data shows corporate investment levels are roughly in line with last year, with companies on track to invest over $5 trillion in 2025. The $20 trillion surge Mr. Trump has claimed does not appear in the available data.”

also, is "Friends" considered a franchise now? Are they referring to "Joey" or are we just sloppily referring to a television series as a "franchise" now

also everything sucks
