AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

Does he understand how embarrassing it is to respond to millions of people across the country specifically protesting you with a—cartoon?

This isn’t an administration, it’s an animal throwing its own feces because it doesn’t know what leadership is.

Glad to hear some opportunistic enemy of the U.S. refrained from steering a plane or lobbing a bomb into the room where all the heads of our military were today. It’s incomprehensible that even one person, let alone two, would be so stupid to demand all the leaders of our military convene at once.

US farmers are saying they "just need temporary help, until things get better."

Here's the thing. US farm exports- which are mostly soy- CANNOT get better.

Other countries expanded their soy industries to fill China's demand.

We've walled ourselves out of the global market, folks. This is it.

2 big things to know about Republicans in Congress gutting healthcare:

1. Premiums will increase by 75% for more than 20 million Americans

2. This is a manufactured crisis
The GOP’s lies are a smokescreen to gut your health care
The talking points are false, but the consequences are real.

If you want an America where Americans of different political views recognize each other as allies with differences, stop getting “news” from social media. If you do not want political violence, demand from your congresspeople that they regulate social media ASAP.

Now Republicans are trying something different: quietly weakening the law and hoping you won’t notice. We can’t let them. It’s up to all of us to vote for leaders in every election who will make our healthcare system better, not undermine it. Call your member of Congress and hold them accountable.

President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans are no longer promising to repeal Obamacare, but that doesn’t mean they have given up efforts to take down the landmark health reform law.

Profound thanks to Frances Perkins, first woman to serve as a U.S. Cabinet maker, and without whom we might still be without the terrific program we call Social Security. A pox, the evil eye, a blight, and a plague, on any politician who acts to hobble, and not strengthen the program.
Today marks the 90th anniversary of FDR signing the Social Security Act, a crucial lifeline for many. It’s helped millions survive old age, disability, and loss. 90 years later, this vital program is in more danger than ever because some would rather dismantle it than fix it. #SocialSecurity90 #SSA
