The framing here is so disappointing. Journos need to look at what questions were asked and decide if they're relevant/reasonable - and if they are, then the headline is 'Willis gets defensive' and not her take. Still reeling too that the government deciding to burn us all is given second billing

Government budgets are NOT like a family struggling with the cost of living.

The reserve bank can print more New Zealand dollars, and taxes on the wealthy can keep domestic inflation under control.

But sure, lets force councils to cut on community services that are already underfunded.

Youth Homelessness Collective Takes Crisis To Parliament As Auckland Council Prepares Punitive 'Move On' Orders
Our report, More Than a Home, captures what rangatahi told us: they want homes that are safe, grounded in culture, and connected to whānau and whenua. They want belonging, healing, and opportunity.

Labour aren't going to help. They will tinker around the edges, as they always do.

They expect to coast on progressive votes.

Vote Greens next year. They are the only ones willing to do transformational policy.

They are the only ones that *actually* represent the workers.

Neither Labour nor National have done f-all 2 slow dropping living stds 4 most NZers 4 the last 40+ yrs. The Greens have produced a viable economic plan. Give them 3 yrs 2 show what they can do. The fact the 2 big parties spend time screaming about them shows they're worried. Vote Greens

#NZPol Just vote Green. This is such bullshit.

Voting 4 Labour cos u don't like conservative policies has failed NZers. Labour have STILL not committed 2 repealing the pay equity debacle, and seem to be happy to continue privatisation by stealth of our health system.
It's time to start voting FOR policies, not against parties.
