I'd suggest that someone who is likely to be influenced by Trump telling them to watch GB News is probably already watching GB News.
The Trump Administration is now pushing Brits to watch GB News instead of the BBC. The Far Right are trying to seize this moment of chaos in British media.

Word of the day: kompromat. Compromising information collected for use in blackmailing, discrediting, or manipulating someone, typically for political purposes.

A chap sees my copy of Spirit Of Eden by Talk Talk hanging behind me. He tells me a mate lent him his copy, and he never gave it back - he didn't realise how much it cost! So I (jokingly) suggest he sells it to me and doesn't tell his mate #sellingvinyl

A lot of my new stock is hard to find 90s albums, such as Radiohead and Portishead. A young fella gets excited seeing the new albums - almost as excited as I am having them to sell! He then invests heavily. #sellingvinyl

I'm at Tobacco Factory Sunday in Bristol market today, having missed a couple. Got some amazing new stock, lots of trip hop. Come and say hi, or tell me your favourite story about interacting with a minor pop star #sellingvinyl

“You can go through life falling down a hole, climb out, learn something, then fall down the next hole, climb out, learn something more.

Or you can find out where the holes are and try and walk around them.”

Lionel Richie‘s dad‘s advice to his son. Love that

Ok. Let's do that then.

This is great to see and I really hope they win. But why on earth is it up to individuals to take action against farming companies and water companies? Surely that is what a watchdog is supposed to be for. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
River Wye pollution prompts UK's largest environmental lawsuit
Livestock and water companies are accused of “extensive” pollution in the Wye, Lugg and Usk rivers.

A quote from Daniel Crosby from a forthcoming Financial Wellbeing Podcast episode: "The people around us are a much better predictor of our behaviours than our goals or our values".

Tip: If you follow a grifter (someone doom spreading on social media in order to get followers), it will be making you unhappy. Just unfollow them.

There is so much positivity and joy out there, if you choose to look for it

It is the time of year when we are reminded of the glorious joy that can be had from saying the word: mulch.

I have never been a fan of the Cheers titles - mainly because of the music. But this has made me reconsider the images. All those lives, memorialised in a strange context. Ghost actors playing a role.
Ever wondered where all the Cheers title photos are from? I did. And I've gathered everything I can find into this post. That was fun.

Long chat (well, listening to!) possibly the biggest XTC fan in the world! Lots of great stories, culminating in the time he had a cup of tea with Andy Partridge! #sellngvinyl

I also met a young man who started a business, in addition to a full time job, to promote mental health and social wellbeing.

There is so much negativity in the news and social media. In real life, there is also huge amounts of kindness and love. It just doesn't get reported.

Today I met a charity who have had great success helping young people at a boxing gym. If other boxing gyms want to do the same, they give them everything they need, for free.

In a world where many wealthy people use their money to make more money, this was so uplifting

When I unsubscribe, and I have the option, I tell the truth about why. Usually it's because I never signed up to receive the email in the first place.

Has this ever resulted in any action being taken?

I need a break from free jazz! This album is gorgeous and soothing #SundayMorningMusic

Picked this up yesterday. One of the joys of running a record stall is that I buy albums blind and if I don’t like them, I sell them. A jazz compilation from an Italian label. Three discs, having done one side, it might be a little far out for my taste #SundayMorningMusic

Early start for my #SundayMorningMusic. Dr. John has long been a favourite since a mate had a cassette of In The Right Place when I was a student. He made a lot of albums, but this was a really strong late one.
