This crash is frightening and absolutely unacceptable—5 pedestrians were hit by the driver of this box truck. Keeping those injured in our hearts, and wishing everyone a speedy recovery 💛

So far we know very little about how this happened. No one should fear being hit while on the sidewalk.

MeVa – the regional transit agency for Haverhill and Lawrence – used to collect $1.5 million a year in fare revenues. But going fare-free has produced over $2 million in benefits to the agency, its riders, and the regional economy.
