It looks like macOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 fixes a lot of issues, so maybe I'm going to be able to ship an update for Tooly. Now it would be great if we could exclude support for some OS version. #BuildInPublic

Across my 5 apps, I have 14 subscriptions with an MRR of 46€. You can add to that some of the Lifetime purchase. Seeing it as a new video game each month, makes it feel good. #BuildInPublic

Could we train LLMs so when we give them a Storyboard file they convert it to a full code UIKit class with no errors. That would really be helpful.

Kids asked for it, and to be honest, it’s fun 😁

I finally finished DK Bananza yesterday, first game I was hoping to 100% in decades, turns out there is a lot to do to 100% once you beat the final boss. That’s fine, I really enjoy it, so I’ll continue.

I really want to update Tooly for macOS and iPadOS 26, but there is so many things broken on those version, that I just don't know what to do, and want to give up. #BuildInPublic

The more I have to fix stuff (and see stuff I can't fix or workaround) the more I think that Liquid Glass is a big F*** YOU to all developers out their.

I'm so happy Tahoe broke HSplitView in a NavigationSplitView. I cannot ship an update like this…

When I try to build for macOS 26, I get this error. Does it make sense to anybody? #BuildInPublic

I had a lot of glitches on List using the swipe actions when moving items between sections. Turns out using the destructive role on the buttons in those actions, fixed all of them.

I really think keyboard shortcuts and menu (like main menu) are one of the worst part of iOS development. I don’t know why, but this a lot more complicated than it should be. Maybe I'm holding it wrong. #BuildInPublic

Decided to move the search bar to the detail navigation bar on iPad on iOS 26, not sure about this, but this looks like a pattern used by many Apple apps, so users might expect it here. #BuildInPublic

I was thinking about dropping support for iOS 15 and 16 for Games. But I realised that I could continue adding features for all users but keep OS improvements for iOS 26+. Will see how long I can manage this. #BuildInPublic

I really like how naming it iOS 26, broke every logic 😂 Claude Code is lost.

Getting closer to have Games ready for iOS 26. The detail screen is now done on iOS and iPadOS. #BuildInPublic

Full UIKit or full SwiftUI, this is the way. Anything else is pain and suffering. #BuildInPublic

My new details screen is written is SwiftUI, that allows for quick iterations. But now that I want to make it work with the “old” UIKit part of the app, I’m thinking about rewriting it in UIKit… 😅 #BuildInPublic

This is still a work in progress, but here is a sneak peak at the redesigned detail screen of Games for iOS 26 compared to the current one. #BuildInPublic

Hi all! Back from Japan. It was amazing 😍. I obviously could not pass on bringing back some video games 😎. #japan #videogame

I was aiming for a quick iOS 26 update for Games. I failed. I've reworked the add/edit game screen, and I want more. #BuildInPublic

So, this also affects apps build with iOS 18, but running on iOS 26. Which means I'll have to issue an update to fix this, while my iOS 26 update is still not done. #BuildInPublic
I dont’ know what I do wrong. Same code build with SDK 26, on iOS 18 it works as expected, on 26, when I scroll back to the top the list is visually wrong (tapping an item opens the correct one), and opening the menu, « reverts » to the correct list. #BuildInPublic

I've updated Amiilog for iOS 26, and it's already available on the App Store (it was kind of quick). I plan to update Games and Tooly, but this requires a bit more work, and I didn't had the time to focus on it this summer. So it's coming, I just don’t know when.

I guess having my apps still « Waiting for review », means they are less important for Apple than some.
