"Democrats need their own Stephen Miller" misses the point. Stephen Miller isn't a partisan attack dog. He's a zealot with a very specific political project that MAGA just happens to give him the opportunity to carry out.

"don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good" is an incredibly weird standard to hold a president to specifically on the issue of actively overriding state department guidance and rules to continue arming a country found to be using US weapons on civilians. This cannot be too high a bar.
