I propose replacing all AI with children paid to browse the internet and then argue with each other as to what the answer is, and then responding. Far cheaper and probably more accurate than AI.

WIP of some kind of modern Asteroids remake I'm working on, including black holes. As with most software projects, there is no spec.

I've recently been browsing The Home Computer Course on archive. org. What a great magazine this was, really well laid out, interesting and informative.

I'm slowly removing all the AI generated images from my games. Only one game left, which unfortunately uses quite a few for the faces of people (it's a murder mystery).

In Stellar Forces (a Laser Squad remake) you can watch the playback of all your missions. Here's a playback of the classic The Assassins mission. Sterner is the big yellow circle! www.stellarforces.com

Sometimes the internet is great. I was reminiscing about an old very basic dungeon crawler I played from the early 90's, so I googled "msdos freeware dungeon", and it was among the first images. Dungeons of Drakklor!

Very suspicious why Google are constantly asking Android users to backup their photos to their cloud. It's almost like they want to use them to feed their AI machine.

So it looks like the C# ASP.Net annotation "DisableRequestSizeLimit" doesn't disable the request size limit. Great. I might start a blog on all the ways modern tech is rubbish.

What with Fujitsu Horizon, now this, and generally most IT systems being buggy, maybe we should go back to using pen and paper. Or call out crap when we see it. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

I wish every programming language had built-in signals just like Godot's GDScript does. Having to go back to C# and pass references around from class to class is becoming tedious.

I generally only follow retro and gamedev accounts on Bluesky, and that's all I usually see. So why is my Popular With Friends tab full of American politics?
