Started my journey rigging in vfx this week. I've worked in TV, games (indie and AAA) but not yet in films. This has been a goal since I was kid. Super stoked about this opportunity.

Hopefully I can overcome imposter syndrome, make cool things and deliver 🤗

I was having a discussion with @stephors.bsky.social about soft IK recently, and remembered this great Softimage blog post. It's nearly 20 years old at this point, but the equation is solid. I use the same setup in my rigs, only converted to Maya utility nodes #rigtip

Finally on this thing. Will adjust some details because of unfortunate events this week but want to start thing fresh and positive.. Atleast trying to be positive. Still processing everything..
