With only one ATP event last week, no huge moves in the rankings list.
But like the women, a lot of new career bests.

Updated ATP Tour rankings are here:

Three WTA events in one week with the top guns taking a break means a lot of opportunities.

And Czechia’s Sara Bejlek, Great Britain’s Katie Boulter and veteran Romanian Sorana Cirstea took full advantage of the situation.

Here's Monday's update. On Sunday!

It should have been fairly routine for Canada vs. Brazil.
It was anything but that. But Liam Draxl channels Vasek Pospisil with the three-for, and becomes Canada's latest Davis Cup hero.

As Canada and Brazil start a deciding rubber in their Davis Cup tie in Vancouver, a little reading about Brazil's Orlando Luz - a doubles hero to start the day and Alejandro Tabilo, the Chlean-Canadian.
And how being a junior hotshot doesn't always mean much.

The latest "next great French hope" is Moise Kouamé, the first 2009 kid to make an ATP main draw as he debuts in Montpellier Wednesday.
Open Court scouted him out a year ago in the AO juniors.
And there's been one significant change since then.

If you have no specific rooting interest and just root for a good story, you can't ask for better than Carlos Alcaraz v Novak Djokovic.
If you do, either one winning would be a historic title.
On Sunday, we'll find out.

The difference between a great player and a champion was starkly on display Friday at the Australian Open, in a memorable semifinal epic that proved another triumph for Carlos Alcaraz, and another "what-if" for Alexander Zverev.

Watch as Marat Safin and Marcos Baghdatis show how it's done.

They meet Friday in the AO semis.

The Monfils's kinda sorta broke the rules on Saturday in Melbourne.
But the extra practice paid off as Elina Svitolina is into the QFs, with her bestest practice partner, husband Gaël Monfils, right there with her.
How much do we love this couple?

The Canadian is used to playing "celebrity mixed" at majors. But it's the matchup we didn't know we needed.

But all of the men's matches set up to have at least some potential to be bangers.
Not many so far - except Wawrinka :-)
