Looking to stay as healthy as someone from 18th century Edinburgh? The prescription is simple - one round of golf followed by a gallon of claret, taken daily for 80 years!

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

Don't think we can ever understate just how close to complete amd toral collapse China was in 1975.

Even the railways by this point were essentially being run (and looted) by armed Red Guards answering to no-one but themselves!

Fascinated how in both the 1930s and the 1960s there were many in the SNP who wanted a pact with the Liberals to stop them becoming a rival Nationalist party.

Coriolanus is great, and honestly don't know why modern day adaptions of Shakespeare get so much hate when his work is so rich that ever since the Restoration people have adapted his work in wildly different ways.

A ★★★★★ review of Coriolanus (2011)

I'm not saying I've seen every attraction in Dublin but I've seen Seamus Heaney's writing desk and W.B. Yeats astrology charts so really I think I'm winning!
