Women are the canaries in the coal mine of how bad Twitter is now. It’s not just about echo chamber blah blah. It’s unsafe— when huge accounts like this guy w/ 400k followers (Fox contributor too) single out a random woman minding her business so mobs can attack her. And no block feature!

Would work ideally in Spain's climate.
So long as it isn't raining hard.
Seville, Spain eliminated 5,000 car parking spaces and built an 80 km protected cycling network in just 18 months with 32 million €.

Result: An average 70,000 bike trips a day.

Sadly, I didn’t, Col, BUT I did keep the research!!! I’m going to try again in early 2026, so please keep your fingers crossed, mate!!!!!

I suspect I'll make myself unpopular again, but I welcome this. Small modular reactors make decarbonising heavy industrial processes; hydrogen production; grid balancing and other tasks easier. We don't need to choose between SMRs and renewables. We can have both.

In a letter to all 100 U.S. Senators, William Webster, the only person ever to lead both the FBI and CIA, wrote that neither Patel nor Gabbard meets the demands of top intelligence jobs. At 100 and still at the top of his game, Webster deserves to be heeded.

The thing Vivek, JD Vance ( through his wife ), Elon and others are going to understand very soon ( even Nick Fuentes due to his family name ) is how racism takes no prisoners…

And I will be sipping tea meanwhile that happens!

Actually most bicyclists are okay to bike in rain (yes severe rain does pose risk of fall but it is possible to bike in light rain)
One of my former German colleague used to bike 34 kms (each way) from late March up until early December

How to Safely Build 100-plus Kilograms of Weapons-Grade Plutonium

No no, Manu - just the opposite. Both plastics and asphalt are effectively the same thing. The binding process that occurs at-temperature is what secures the plastics chemically and physically. There’s no “washing away”. Ironically, plastics act as a plasticizer, making the asphalt MORE pliable.

Sadly, indeed tragically, you’re correct, Das.

Jacqueline nails it, as always: Twitter is literally a dangerous place now for women everywhere and all walks of life. Musk is pathetic.

Totally enraging, Manu - actual field deployments of up to 20% (w/w) plastic in road asphalt has been successfully tested, with exceptionally higher performance than control (just asphalt). Keep the particle size >1mm, then blend.

Whoa!!!!! Boy, when you indicated you wanted to divest from Elon, you were NOT kidding, Sid!! Bravo!!!!

Ok, super - thanks!

Awesome!!! Thanks!!

Oh, I’m squarely in the chem/phys side, but I do track a number of excellent engineers in the nuclear space!

Hi, Jo - I’m still figuring out how the hell to use this, but I subsequently posted more information. Please take a look at my responses to Manu - it’s all good!! I posted the three books I got published, mentioned my talks/lectures on YouTube and so on.

Here’s the 2nd edition, again published by Elsevier (in April of 2024) where I have two chapters in this edition. I co-authored with my hero, Dr. Jan Uhlir! shop.elsevier.com/books/molten...

Hi, Manu! Ok, this is one of the books we published this year. I have two more books that I will be posting for you to “vet” me. Feel free to watch the hours of video/talks/lectures on YouTube. Oh, and this is available on Amazon.com :-)

@manelcamacho.bsky.social - Hi, Manu - I’d be delighted to be added to your groups.
