REPRESENTATION MATTERS, in every sense of the word and in every facet of our lives! The (nominally) non-partisan municipal elections this fall pose the perfect opportunity to practice critically evaluating candidates' stances and records so that next fall, we can vote the issues, not the alphabet.
Of our THREE co-equal branches of gov, Branch 1 has ceded its power & Branch 2 is running roughshod over Branch 3. Remind Branch 1 to stand up to Branch 2 or we'll find representatives who WILL next fall!

My body has been battling me this week, so health concerns are top of mind right now. Recent actions by both our State and Federal legislatures will make obtaining healthcare more difficult for everyone, not just Medicaid recipients. If this is something you care about, join us on 08/02!
Medicaid is now MIA and rural hospitals are closing. If you're sick and tired of government working AGAINST you rather than FOR you, come make some noise!
