I have already ended up in a argument today with someone saying I shouldn't assume it was a far-right fire attack on an IPAS centre (following a number of far-right fire attacks on IPAS centres) because it was probably "kids messing with fireworks" so this is worth hammering home I think

Soldier F acquitted. I suppose those bullets spontaneously found their way into the crowd. If you ever wonder why, after all this time irish people take a dim view of the British state, and we can't just get over it, it's things like this.

Soldier F acquitted. I suppose those bullets spontaneously found their way into the crowd. If you ever wonder why, after all this time irish people take a dim view of the British state, and we can't just get over it, it's things like this.

- the killings were unjustified
- none of the 14 dead (7 of whom were children) had guns
- no warnings were given
- no soldiers were under threat
- the troops were the first to open fire
