It’s hard to enjoy a Carvel cake in Hell but the Devil seems to be happy and isn’t that all that matters? PS. The cake was inspired by a plastic Fisherprice toy cake I had as a kid; however it included no number 6s to put on top.

Time to get crafty—there’s a new goody in the Etsy shop, and it’s a creativity kit! Snag a collection of thoughtfully sourced, one-of-a-kind paper ephemera and add it to the homemade sketchbook/junk journal that’s included. Just add glue and any other artsy bric-a-brac you’d like!

I reworked another old drawing (the third slide is the original) but couldn’t decide on the face for my forlorn fisherperson. I think I like the one on the first slide, but my honey likes the hillbilly despair shown in the second slide. Which do you prefer?

My “Things You Can Do With Your Anxiety” zine is sold out, but don’t fret (ha!): Here it is in internet comic form! I think a Part 2 is on the horizon… In the meantime, scope out what inventory is still available in ye olde Etsy shoppe but going to the link in the bio and choosing ETSY!

It’s September now, so this flash sheet has those back-to-school/junior high vibes, but with a late ‘90s/early ‘00s twist, since that’s when I was a budding adolescent, putting up cryptic AIM away messages, wearing scrunchies, slipping notes in lockers, and taping songs off the radio.
