We were delighted to welcome the Rt Hon Steve Reed OBE MP to St Andrew’s this morning. He had very productive discussions with our Parent Unity Group and our School Council about current educational issues and safety in our community.

In EYFS, we have been making staircase patterns in maths. We have been learning that each part of the staircase is one more than the last.

Year 3 applied their new knowledge of the 4 and 8 times tables to solve a variety of tricky problems. They had to work in teams, listen to everyone’s opinion and use counters to prove their answers. They are such fantastic mathematicians - ask them what 8 x 8 is!
