🚨 We urgently need to raise £25,000 by Christmas to bring beavers to Craddocks Moss! 🦫

Beavers create wetlands that fight climate change, reduce flooding & bring back wildlife.

Donate today to restore this precious local habitat before it’s too late: www.staffs-wildlife.org.uk/beaver-appeal

We’re excited to share that the historic bridge at our Cotton Dell Nature Reserve has been beautifully restored!

Dating back to the late 1700s, it's a remarkable piece of local heritage built using the traditional dry stone technique. Over time, weather & a landslip left it at risk of collapse...

What's a beaver's best feature? 🦫

Teeth - arguably a beaver's super power. Iron-rich enamel makes them strong enough to cut through tree trunks!

Tail - don't underestimate the power of the tail. They help the beaver to steer while swimming, like a mini rudder.

Craddocks Moss is a degraded peat bog near Newcastle-under-Lyme.

If left unchecked, the peat here will dry out and release stored carbon into the atmosphere. We can’t let this happen.

That's where beavers come in 🦫
