She/her, lesbian, in her 30s, still feels young, enjoys robots. As long as you do not look like someone I would not like to discuss with, I'm sure we may get along.

As an American, I tire of this land of malice I live in.
You can dislike someone and their actions while also disliking when they are treated unfairly.
This is another thing I've needed to remind myself.

Things the internet likes to forget:
- It's innocent until proven guilty.
- A reason is not an excuse.
- The difference between a lie and confabulation.
- Good people can do bad things.
- Don't assume malice when incompetence will suffice.
- Everyone learns at their own pace.
- Change is inevitable.

We sometimes treat real prisoners better than we treat people online, and that's honestly something we don't talk about.

Stop punishing people for learning too late.
Not everyone has the same knowledge and background you do, some people don't recognize the potential harm they cause unless they've been educated.
It's what they do after that education that really marks who they are as a person.

Something that really surprised me about becoming an adult and self-actualising and making friends etc is that most cool people are pretty kind and welcoming and not actually scary

For clarity sake, my previous posts are about a real event that happened in my previous community that I've since had time to organize my feelings towards.
I do not hold active resentment for the individuals within that community, but the community as a whole did start to foster harmful behaviors.

Community can influence a persons behavior, no matter the age.
Doubly so, if the person is on the spectrum.
So there's a chance that, if you think a person's behavior is toxic, it could be because the environment is that way.
Especially if otherwise, they're a known people pleaser.

Anger is a passing emotion, malice is a consistent motive.
A person is not inherently two-faced if they say something awful about another during the moment, and later talks to the person they said the awful thing about later in the day.
That could show the person cooled off.

A person's moral character is not their ugliest moments. It's their average moments.
If a person is often more of a help than harm, then the moments where the person does something harmful are outliers and should be treated as such, don't forget who that person is because of those weaker moments.

Two ideals can exist at once;
You can think the way someone handled something was harmful and wrong and still feel as if those who confronted the person's thoughts handled it in a way that was worse.
These are not contradictory feelings, they can co-exist.
I sometimes need to remind myself.

Actions in anger are not necessarily the same as actions done in malice, remember that.

Trump dying in office after Biden lived through his term would be such an indictment of the press.
Made “Biden Old” the top story, treating it as an uncovered secret, a scandal. Then lamented not covering it even more. All while treating “Trump Old” as a nonstory. Because he’s loud and lies a lot.
