If Joe Biden posted this Memorial Day message, the mainstream media and Republicans would say he is completely unfit to serve, with many calling for the invocation of the 25th Amendment.

Because it's Trump, everyone remains silent.

49th book of the year and this was a masterpiece. It was “unputdownable” - a difficult, visceral, gut-wrenching read and an also a very compelling, entertaining, witty and funny retelling.
This should be required reading for peeps who think “get over it”.

Totes normal right? Deifying our leaders is not WEIRD AT ALL!
FCC Chair Brendan Carr sports a gold Trump-head lapel pin.

Members of Trump’s cabinet, along with Congresspeople and Senators, are being instructed to wear a tribute to their inglorious, convicted-felon leader.

Our beef is the most masculine beef. Very strong, heterosexual beef. Our beef pisses standing up while their effeminate beef pisses sitting down.

Russia needs its war in Ukraine to end: their economy is collapsing, they're in need of soldiers for their meat grinder in Ukraine after North Koreans bailed, and every inch of land they steal is costly. Putin wants to invade Ukraine the cheap way: steal the election, install a puppet like in the US
These are talking points straight from the Kremlin.

It is clear that Trump’s plan to “end the war” is to remove Zelenskyy, replace him with a Putin stooge, and then let Putin take over Ukraine.

The Rubio-led State Department was supposed to represent a “moderate” side of MAGA. Darren Beattie's appointment makes a mockery of that notion.

As companies shell out big bucks for Super Bowl commercials, remember that many said they were forced to raise prices due to inflation.

Also remember that average profit margins in nearly every sector in the S&P 500 are running near or above 10-year highs.

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO

At her first White House press briefing, press secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed that the Trump administration had paused $50 million in funding for “condoms in Gaza.”

There is no evidence to support the claim that the United States was going to send $50 million in aid for “condoms in Gaza.”
There is no evidence the US planned to send $50 million for "condoms in Gaza"
More importantly, the funding pause touted by the Trump admin could have devastating consequences for Palestinians in desperate need of medical attention.

When I was growing up, there were ashtrays everywhere. Every house, every business, the doctor's office, not outside, inside on every table. A battered metal bowl, coated in toxic resin, overflowing with spit stained damp butts and foul ash, stinking of cancer.

That's what RFK Jr reminds me of.

Medicaid didn't go offline because it was too "woke."

School lunch programs weren't put at risk because of immigrants.

Funding for cancer research wasn't on the chopping block because of trans people.

All of this (and more) was jeopardized because of one person: Donald Trump.
