Just received photos from a landslide below Kendal Yards into the river. Doesn’t look to be threatening any structures but it shows you the erosive power of nature and the river! We’re going to go and check it out and report back.

Hangman Creek rose this week after all the rainfall we’ve had. High enough for a float through the canyon but also brings lots of sediment pollution to the river.

The Little Spokane River watershed has some amazing tributaries and wetlands, but what is up with the fence across the creek and all these no access signs?

On Thursday and Friday we helped the City of Spokane remove 8,500 pounds of garbage from the banks of the river. 5 full raft loads.

Did we really have 7 days over 100 degrees this summer I. Spokane? We will see what that does to water temperature. Stay tuned.
