On November 24, 2024, I filed a claim against three accounts that stole my content to redirect traffic to a malicious site. Since then, Pinterest has been slow to act, even as I’ve filed 30 additional claims against 18 accounts linked to a larger network of 19, possible more domains.

If you’ve stopped masking, now is a great time to start again. Literally every one of my friends or family who have traveled recently caught covid. N95 masks are best, 3M Aura brand are very comfortable and sold lots of places online or in stores like Target (you can even do curbside pickup). 😷
COVID is REALLY going around right now, friends. I highly highly highly recommend masking indoor public spaces, especially among crowds. It's easy, honestly, and it makes a big difference.

While I blame Facebook for allowing this, those who don't moderate their social media accounts are equally responsible. Posting content without moderation ruins your followers' experience and discourages interaction.

So far today, my moderators have had to shut down 35 fake accounts, with over 240 replies targeting my page's audience with scam replies like this.

Copytrack has a weird response when asked to provide proof they represent the rights holder of an image:

"We have reviewed the provided information and decided to close the claim."

I would think an apology would be more appropriate.

As I dived into Copytrack, I found one of their clients that sells their images on Adobe. Which leads to the question:

How does an image that costs as little as $3 with no recurring fee lead to 260.00 € fine and a recurring fee of 293.29 €?
