It's finally here 🥳 UK publication day for my book, "Elizabeth Boleyn: The Life of the Queen's Mother", the first narrative biography of Elizabeth Boleyn. I hope my book leads to her finally being included in the Boleyn family's story. Buy it now from all good bookshops in the UK!
You know that a new project has captivated you when you're buying obscure books from the 1950s to cite 📖

Fabulous 5* review of Scotland's Medieval Queens:
"...It not only restores visibility to neglected historical figures but also elevates the study of monarchy beyond battles and bloodlines. For readers of medieval history and gendered power, Connolly offers both clarity and reverence"

A friend of mine sent me this photo this morning! I thought everyone would appreciate how genuinely thrilled I was to see the tomb of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York on my recent trip to Westminster Abbey. And no, I didn't know this photo was being taken!

Spending some time today reading the proofs of my paper for the Royal Studies Journal, which is due out in December!

This paper discusses who might have commissioned the Psalter of Anne Boleyn, a beautiful illuminated manuscript held by Wormsley Library, given to Anne Boleyn in around 1531.

Just popped into Blackwell's in Oxford to see if they had a copy of "Elizabeth Boleyn", only to find they'd sold their copy on Saturday and ordered another one in! Great news 😊 Everyone remember to support your brick and mortar shops 📖
