I really love seeing real life professions react to how they're portrayed on screen. As a screenwriter, there's some stuff you leave out for the sake of the story. I saw a doctor saying something like real ER doctors don't talk that long with patients like they do on the PITT.

I'm not watching Euphoria but I've seen a lot of clips on Tiktok and it boggles the mind that the actress who plays Maddie is not a bigger thing. I mean I know why her Jeans costar is being pushed to the moon but Alexa Demie is really talented.

One of my love languages is giving friends cool gifts that they immediately freak out over. My best friend is a huge fan of Deadpool and has basically every single piece of memorabilia EXCEPT the Deadpool branded Coke cans. I got him two and for a man who doesn't show emotion, he showed a lot <3

I say this as someone who writes about Hollywood and entertainment for a living: People have got to stop thinking Hollywood is one monolithic mass. The creatives are a wholly different group than studio executives. The former group keeps making art despite the latter.

“In the beginning, the bang buses were spaced by 24 weeks. Then 12, then 6, then every 2 weeks. The last one in Sydney was a week. In four days, we could be seeing a bang bus every eight hours, until they are coming every four minutes. Marshal, we should witness a double event within seven days!”
This makes it sound like an extinction-event meteor approaching Earth.

Unexpectedly ended up babysitting my two nephews and was given the go-ahead by their health conscious father to "go crazy" regarding getting them a snack.
We got ice cream and I bought them novelty gummies in the shape of a pizza slice and a coke bottle.
