I have volunteered and donated to prevent gun violence in America even for people like Charlie Kirk for the last 10 years. Charlie Kirk spent the last 10 years promoting gun culture and lax gun laws to harm people especially people like me (brown immigrant) and Black people.

I guess it’s only appropriate that on 9/11, which is itself associated with so many conspiracy theories, that so many Americans are spending their time on conspiracy theories. It’s also sad because now it’s not just the fringe and the conspiracy theories started before his death was even announced

As a physician i am despondent over what is happening to our public health system and it’s particularly dark right now. Physicians are in an untenable situation where our Hippocratic oath to do no harm may conflict with government guidelines and regulations.

In 6 months FOTUS has accomplished what it took Putin and others authoritarians years and even decades to put in place. This doesn’t say as much about FOTUS and his team as it does about how complacent and stupid Americans are.

Doctors including myself attempting to treat ICE detainees deprived of medical care at 26 Federal Plaza were turned away by DHS on Monday. People held at the NYC facility have been routinely denied medical attention.

Everything I know about Jeffrey Epstein has been against my will except for the fact that real victims were hurt and they weee young women and girls who are once again forgotten in the jokes and rush to use their pain for revenge not justice. We need both. 😁

The immigrant story used to be the story of the American Dream. Now it’s the American Nightmare and we immigrants are seen as the biggest threat to America. In less than one generation we have become the antithesis of what we aspired to be. We were never great for everyone.

And yes of course a lot of these conversations and talking points are in response to racist right wing stereotypes but we are so much more than our jobs.

I have learned a lot of really long beautiful Spanish names recently for the saddest reason. I have always loved Spanish names because I am Korean American and our names are monosyllabic and our full names are always just three syllables (e.g. Kim Jong Un)
