Nothing makes you fall back in love with a piece of gear like selling it. I was playing through my Tone Master Deluxe, waiting for the buyer to show up... and suddenly I didn't want to sell it.
I have known for a long time it's not a good fit for me. It never will be... but still.

I opened up my DAW to mix a podcast for a friend. The last 5 opened documents were all podcast mixes. I'm glad to have a little side hustle action but this means I haven't made any music in probably 5 months. I need to screw around making music more!

Solo dad this weekend. There is something about it that is more relaxing. I think it is because I have zero expectation of getting anything done other than keeping the two of us alive. Everything we actually do accomplish feels like a bonus.

I used to be a recording engineer. Sometimes I would make a record for someone with no expectation of fame or fortune. They just wanted to spend a week in a studio making music.

I'm pretty sure I'd pay my local hardware store to let me spend 12 hours organizing the fastener section. There is an art to it and it's clear that nobody there thinks it's important. What a cluster!
